OUR STORY
WHAT IS VIVIENTE?
Viviente is an artisanal mezcal from Michoacán, born from a free and contemporary way of experiencing one of Mexico’s great traditions.
That’s why we are Mezcal Libre. Free to enjoy neat, with others, at the table, or in a cocktail. There is no single right way to enjoy it. What matters is the quality of the mezcal, where it comes from, and the people who make it possible.
OUR ORIGIN
Our distillery is located in Etúcuaro, Michoacán, and our agave fields are in Ucasiro and Devanador. From this land, we share another expression of Mexican mezcal, one with a distinctly Michoacán identity.
We don’t look to represent Michoacán through folklore or nostalgia. We want to show a living place through its agaves, its traditions, its people, and the way they continue to evolve in the present.
